Students have the right to file a complaint about a college or university through the New York State Department of Education. A full description of the process and guidelines, as well as a link to the complaint form, are available on the section of the the NYSDOE website.

Student Location Policy

91制片厂 determines each student's location at the time of听initial enrollment, and updates it whenever a听student reports a change, in accordance with the policy below. This applies to听all听students regardless of whether their program is in-person, hybrid, or online.

Each student must provide a current correct name and address to the Office of Registration and Records within 10 days of any change. This includes both the permanent and local (academic year/summer) address. Forms are available online (Records and Registration听website) or in the Office of Registration and Records.

Professional Licensure Disclosure

New York State prides itself on the high quality of its licensed certified professionals. For the protection of its citizens, each license and certificate has requirements that individuals must meet in order to be licensed or certified in New York State. 91制片厂鈥檚 academic programs leading to licensure or certification are carefully designed to meet and exceed these State requirements.

Per U.S. Federal Regulations,听搂668.14 and 搂668.43, and in compliance with the version 25.2, 91制片厂 provides the following disclosures related to the educational requirements for professional certification and licensure:

Information on additional internal and external mechanisms for raising concerns is provided below. If your complaint cannot be resolved through an internal mechanism, an external mechanism may be appropriate. For other more general issues, you may email听the president鈥檚 office.

91制片厂 participates in federal student aid programs that are authorized under Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965. Participating institutions must be legally authorized to operate within the state in which it is located. 34 CFR 搂 668.43(b) requires that institutions 鈥渕ake available for review to any enrolled or prospective student upon request, a copy of the documents describing the institution鈥檚 accreditation and its State, Federal, or tribal approval or licensing. The institution must also provide its students or prospective students with contact information for filing complaints with its accreditor听and with its State approval or licensing entity and any other relevant State official or agency that would appropriately handle a student鈥檚 complaint.鈥

91制片厂 (via New York State) is a member of the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (). This is an agreement among member states, districts and territories that establishes comparable standards for interstate offering of post secondary distance education.

When students participate in distance education coursework, it is 91制片厂's policy that the address submitted on their application/program approval form will be presumed to be the same as the听location听of the student when completing the online coursework. It is the student's responsibility to notify 91制片厂 if their location while completing distance education coursework differs from that listed on the application/program approval form.

A student has the right to lodge a complaint or grievance.听91制片厂 ensures that all concerns and complaints of students are addressed fairly and are resolved promptly. Student complaints relating to consumer protection laws offered under the terms and conditions of the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA), must first be filed with the institution to seek resolution.听Please note the NC-SARA policies do not cover complaints related to grades or student conduct violations.听For more information regarding the student complaint process, please see听.

The student should begin the complaint process with the institution (see Complaint Processes below) and if resolution is not found, the听student may appeal the institution decision to the SARA State Portal Entity in New York State (NYSED), within two years of the incident about which the complaint is made. 91制片厂 students can听get information about filing a complaint with NYSED at听.听听

CARES Act: Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund I

91制片厂 received funding from the CARES Act to assist students who were affected financially due to the disruption of campus operations. Our students received these emergency funds because they met a set of criteria based on guidance from the U.S. Department of Education.

Coronavirus Higher Education Emergency Relief Funds: CRRSAA Higher Education Relief Fund II, ARP Act Higher Education Relief Fund III

91制片厂 received federal funding under the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) as part of the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations (CRRSAA HEERF II) Act, 2021; and the American Rescue Plan (ARP HEERF III), 2021. These emergency financial aid grants will be administered to students for emergency costs due to coronavirus or for any component of the student's cost of attendance. Eligible expenses include tuition, food, housing, health care and child care
