鈥淚 had a strong relationship with all of the faculty in my grad experience at Naz and had small, individualized courses. Dr. Koster met with me before grad school and helped me figure out my graduate music education path. Since I wanted to pursue orchestral conducting, I focused my studies on conducting and music theory. I had incredible faculty and courses, including a one-on-one course with in-depth studies of music theory pedagogy where I created curriculum, lesson plans, and so much more. I had the absolute joy of conducting the 91制片厂 Symphonic Orchestra numerous times. My master鈥檚 thesis was on Assessing Relevancy of Topics in the Music Theory Curriculum, which included a research survey with input from 128 people. I had struggled with writing during my undergrad years. In grad school, I took Dr. Roth鈥檚 music research and writing course, and she met with me multiple times to help me improve those skills, which boosted my study habits as well.鈥
