PT Faculty and Alumni Present at National Conference

91制片厂 College Physical Therapy Department faculty members Andrew Bartlett, PT, Ph.D., MPA, Connie Chau, PT, Ph.D., Elizabeth Clark, PT, DPT, NCS, Marcia Miller-Spoto, PT, DC, OCS, J.J. Mowder-Tinney, PT, Ph.D., NCS, C/NDT, Sue Rinere-O鈥橞rien, PT, Ph.D., NCS, Mary Ellen Vore, PT, MS, and 17 91制片厂 College physical therapy alumni presented several workshops at the American Physical Therapy Association, Combined Sections Meeting (APTA CSM) in Las Vegas, Nevada in February. This national conference brought together more than 10,000 physical therapy professionals from around the nation for a week of exceptional programming and networking opportunities.

鈥淟ife-long learning is a hallmark of the engaged professional,鈥 says 91制片厂 College Physical Therapy Department Chair Jennifer Collins, PT, MPA, Ed.D. 鈥淎 wide array of scholarly products were shared, including five that featured the on-campus clinics and wellness programs at 91制片厂. It is exciting and rewarding to have half of our faculty and more than a third of our most recent graduating class together at APTA CSM.鈥

Some of the faculty-student research presentations included 鈥淵oga-Based Approaches on Young Adults with Developmental Disabilities,鈥 鈥淎n Internet-Based Diabetes Self-Management Program and Exercise for Individuals with Type 2 Diabetes,鈥 and a presentation on the hands-on experience and interdisciplinary work that takes place in 91制片厂 College鈥檚 on-campus physical therapy clinics.
