Sensory Processing Clinic

The Sensory Processing Clinic meets the needs of individuals who have difficulties with modulating sensory input that affects their daily functioning at home, school, or in the community. The therapy provided at the Clinic assists each person in reducing his or her symptoms through the use of specific sensory and motor strategies based on evaluation and intervention approaches that are designed for each individual鈥檚 needs.

Potential Clients

This clinic provides OT services for pediatric and adult clients who meet the criteria described above.

Session Schedule

The clinic offers 50-minute individual and group sessions for 7-8 weeks during 91制片厂's fall semester.

Student Clinicians

Therapy services are provided by students in the master鈥檚 of occupational therapy professional program under the direct supervision of licensed occupational therapist faculty, according to the standards of the New York State Office of the Professions.

Referrals

We welcome referrals from several sources including other clinicians and clients, teachers and other school professionals, social workers, and health care providers.

All clients need a prescription from their health care provider.

Eligibility and Fees

The clinic is offered to clients who meet the criteria for treatment and who provide a current prescription from their health care provider. Services are available to anyone, insured or not. Donations are appreciated.

The OT Sensory Processing Clinic clinic is聽on the in the . Parking passes are provided for parking spaces directly in front of the clinic entrance in the WRI building.

Parking

Clinic parking spaces are located in front of the聽 building and in G Lot at the end of the building.

You will receive a parking pass before you begin therapy or at your first session. Please make sure it's visible on your dashboard while you're parked on campus. If you receive a parking ticket, let your clinic supervisor know.
