CITI Program Trainings

All animal research requires .

Principal investigators are required to complete the following training:

  • Research Administrators and Staff

Students assisting with the research are required to complete one or both of the following training:

  • Student Vivarium Workers
  • Student Researchers Handling Animals

All parties working on the protocol will be required to complete one or more of the following Animal Specific Courses depending on the subject of the research.

  • Working with Amphibians in Research Settings
  • Working with Fish in Research Settings
  • Working with Gerbils in Research Settings
  • Working with Guinea Pigs in Research Settings
  • Working with Hamsters in Research Settings
  • Working with Mice in Research Settings
  • Working with Rabbits in Research Settings
  • Working with Rats in Research Settings
  • Working with Reptiles in Research Settings
  • Working with Zebrafish (Danio rerio) in Research Settings
  • Working with Dogs in Research Settings

New members of the committee itself are required to take one of the following trainings depending on role:

  • IACUC Members and IACUC Staff
  • IACUC Community Members
