Fall Orientation at 91制片厂, just before classes start in August, is more than a checklist. It鈥檚 your warm welcome, your launchpad, and your first real taste of life as a Golden Flyer. From the moment you arrive on campus, you鈥檒l be invited into the Flyer community, supported in your transition, and set up with the confidence and tools you need to begin your academic journey with purpose.
Incoming first-year students accepted into the HEOP or Young Scholars programs will join a four-week on-campus experience focused on academic preparation, personal growth, and building meaningful connections before the fall semester begins.聽You鈥檒l sharpen your skills, get to know campus, and form relationships with peers, faculty, and staff who are here to support you from day one.
This selective summer bridge program is designed to help students interested in health and science pathways start their 91制片厂 journey with confidence.
Supported through 91制片厂鈥檚 Title III grant, the program is especially designed for students聽admitted through Open Path Health and select Nursing, Physical Therapy (PT), or Occupational Therapy (OT) students.
A student is identified as a first-generation college student if neither parent/guardian earned a bachelor's degree. Being the first member of your family to attend college is a big accomplishment and an exciting challenge.
