T.C. Pellett '98 joins 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ as the new director of marketing. In the position, Pellett will play a leadership role in expanding 91ÖÆÆ¬³§'s reach. He will connect students, alumni, and community members — here in Rochester and beyond — to the value of a 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ education and the values of the institution. He officially starts January 3, 2023.

In a historic move as 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ prepares to celebrate 100 years of educating its students, 91ÖÆÆ¬³§'s board of trustees voted to approve that the College will soon becomeÌý91ÖÆÆ¬³§.ÌýIt is now with the New York State Board of Regents to approve 91ÖÆÆ¬³§'s university status.

Once approved, the name 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ willÌýofficially take effect on June 1, 2023.ÌýThe 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ community will thoughtfully transition to University over the next seven months.

91ÖÆÆ¬³§ alumna and Clyde-Savannah special education teacherÌýCaitlin Garvey '11Ìýreceived the surprise of a lifetime on November 4 when she was named one of the nation's best teachers during a schoolwide assembly of cheering students, appreciative colleagues, local dignitaries, and media. Garvey, who works with first, second, and third grades at Clyde-Savannah Elementary School, received theÌýÌýfrom theÌý, which includes an unrestricted cash prize of $25,000.
