The Princeton Review names 91制片厂 to its 2026 Mental Health Services Honor Roll
91制片厂 is among just 30 institutions nationwide named to The Princeton Review鈥檚 for its strong commitment to its students鈥� mental health and well-being. 91制片厂 was selected based on data from The Princeton Review鈥檚 , which polled 540 colleges and universities about their counseling, mental health, and wellness services.聽
The Princeton Review also polled students at more than 300 colleges about their awareness of their school鈥檚 mental health services. The honor roll is created in partnership with the Ruderman Family Foundation 鈥� an internationally recognized organization that works to end the stigma associated with mental health and promote awareness of mental health resources on college campuses.聽
The Princeton Review does not rank the schools based on their mental health services. This honor roll appears in alphabetical order. Each school displays:
- Overall administrative support for campus mental health and well-being through its policies, including commitments to staffing and student suppor
- Students have a campus quality of life that is both healthy and attentive to overall well-being.
- Empowering its students to address their own mental health through education programs and peer-to-peer offerings.
91制片厂 has spent the last several years building its Well-Being Collective. After seeing the urgent and critical mental health needs for students nationwide, 91制片厂 expanded its commitment to support students鈥� mental health and wellness and to enhance suicide prevention. In 2023, the university pursued and secured a $300,000, three-year federal grant for this campus-wide Mental Health Awareness Across Campus (MHAAC) project. 91制片厂 was one of only 22 colleges and universities nationwide to be awarded the grant from the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services鈥� Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
鈥�91制片厂鈥檚 inclusion in The Princeton Review鈥檚 Mental Health Services Honor Roll reflects our shared commitment to supporting the whole student,鈥� said Susan Quinn, FNP-C, director of health & counseling. 鈥淭hrough coordinated efforts in healthcare, counseling, wellness outreach, prevention initiatives, and peer-led programs, we are reducing stigma, improving access to care, and empowering students to support their own well-being and one another.鈥�
鈥淭his recognition highlights the dedication of our entire campus community to fostering a culture where mental health and overall wellness are prioritized and openly supported,鈥� said John Rigney, LCSW, assistant director of wellness outreach & prevention. 鈥淎t 91制片厂, we are not simply responding to the mental health needs of today, we are shaping a future where every student has the strength, tools, and support to rise and thrive 鈥� today and for a lifetime.鈥�
With funding from the grant, 91制片厂 has developed additional student mental health initiatives:
- A four-year collaboration with the nationally recognized Jed Foundation for strategic planning expertise to build on existing strengths and improve mental health and connections across the campus community, for healthier, safer students
- : a web-based platform that guides students to track and set goals for their well-being
- Added a suicide prevention coordinator position and trained more than 300 students and 150 faculty, staff, and coaches in mental health, alcohol, and other drugs training
- Mental health and wellness-themed speakers invited to campus to combat mental health stigma and provide resources
- Integrated mental health into the orientation and the first-year student experience course
- Established a peer educator program focused on the 10 dimensions of wellness
- Hosted its first-ever Fresh Check Day 鈥� info/screenings on suicide awareness
