Published March 26, 2026

91制片厂 is partnering with Syracuse University to offer a 4 + 2 direct admission program for engineering. Students can complete a bachelor鈥檚 degree at 91制片厂 in certain science or math programs to go on for a master鈥檚 degree in one of a dozen engineering programs, in person or online, through Syracuse University鈥檚 College of Engineering and Computer Science.

91制片厂鈥檚 partnership with Syracuse University provides a streamlined admissions process and enables students to earn their bachelor鈥檚 at 91制片厂 in small classes with personal guidance and mentoring from faculty and staff. Eight of 91制片厂鈥檚 undergraduate science and math programs are eligible, including biomedical sciences, ethical data science, and business analytics and artificial intelligence.

"This partnership between 91制片厂 and the Syracuse College of Engineering and Computer Science is a very exciting opportunity for 91制片厂 students," said Thomas Lappas, Ph.D., dean of 91制片厂's College of Liberal Arts, Sciences, Business, and Education. "91制片厂 is very impressed by Syracuse University's carefully crafted summer bridge program, which promises to support recent math and science bachelor's degree recipients in familiarizing themselves with the language and culture of engineering and reinforcing their applied science skills before starting in their graduate programs in the fall."

After graduating from 91制片厂 with a Bachelor of Science degree and a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or better, students attend a six-week summer bridge program with Syracuse. Students can typically earn a graduate engineering degree at Syracuse University鈥檚 in 24 months.

鈥淭his partnership reflects our commitment to expanding access to graduate engineering education and creating clear, achievable pathways for talented students across New York State and beyond,鈥 said Shikha Nangia, Milton and Ann Stevenson Endowed Professor of Biomedical and Chemical Engineering and Chair of the Department of Biomedical and Chemical Engineering. 鈥淏y combining strong undergraduate preparation with targeted bridge coursework, we are enabling students from diverse academic backgrounds to pursue advanced engineering degrees and contribute to solving complex technological and societal challenges.鈥
