91ÖÆÆ¬³§ soccer standouts Ryan Foley ’14 and Amanda Sudore ’13 each were honored on their respective Capital One Academic All-District teams for 2012. The teams were selected through voting conducted by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Foley, a junior midfielder from Waterford, Ireland, and Sudore, a senior defender from Ontario, N.Y., each were first-team selections in District 3 Division III, which encompasses all of New York state.
Foley completed the 2012 season as 91ÖÆÆ¬³§â€™s third leading scorer with four goals and six assists for 16 points. In three seasons, Foley has 52 points on 17 goals and 18 assists. In the classroom, Foley has a 3.70 grade-point average as a physical therapy major.
Sudore enjoyed an honor-laden season for 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ in 2011 as she was named as a first-team All-American both athletically and academically by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. In 2012, Sudore had one goal and has anchored a defensive unit that has limited the opposition to less than one goal per game. She has a grade-point average of 3.66 as a communication sciences and disorders major.
